How to Analyse Your Website
A thorough website analysis covers five dimensions: SEO, content, competitors, conversion, and brand. The goal is not only to find issues, but to decide what will help customers choose and succeed with you.
SEO — are you findable?
Check if your pages are indexed, if titles and descriptions are optimised, and whether technical blockers (SSL, sitemap, crawl errors) exist. Poor technical SEO means Google cannot rank you regardless of content quality.
Content — are you relevant?
Does your content answer what your target customers are searching for? Map pages to search intent. Pages with no clear topic will struggle to rank.
Competitors — are you differentiated?
Who else targets the same customer problem? What do they emphasise, and where is your offer more useful? Build a clear reason someone would choose you over alternatives.
Conversion — are you converting?
Traffic that does not convert is wasted. Check CTAs, page flow, load speed, and mobile experience. One confusing step can kill conversions.
Brand — do you have a clear position?
Can a visitor understand in five seconds what you do, who it is for, and why it is better? Unclear positioning is a common growth bottleneck.
